This week on the podcast we are starting a brand new quarterly titled Ephesians. We will take a brief look at the entire book to give us an idea of the topics we will be covering for the next 14 weeks. In this first lesson we talk about Paul the evangelist and what his main purpose was for writing the book Ephesians in the first place. These lessons are very applicable to us today in our own local churches. Ephesians is a Christ centered and Christ saturated letter that is urging those who read this book to reignite their spiritual commitment today.

This week Elder Nick, Elder Mario, and Elder AJ discuss the differences between laying up your treasure on this earth and laying up your treasure in heaven, and its not always just about money.  We look into the lives of Noah, Abraham, Jacob and Moses.  We also look at the life of Lot which as slightly different than the rest  We will see how those patriarchs choose to live their lives and how they obeyed God even when they didn't have all of the answers.

This week we have a discussion on dealing with debt and what the Bible says about debts, debtors, and what expectations God has for us as Christians. We will look at the 3 biggest reasons why people get into debt as well as 3 ways that will help us begin to get out of debt.  All of this comes with a premise of course and if you listened to last week's episode, I think you know what that might be.

This week we discuss the 4th lesson within this quarter titled Offerings to Jesus.  Here discuss what an offering is, why it is important and what it means to give freely and with your whole heart.  

Elder Nick and Elder AJ are the speakers within this lesson and had a very interesting and special discussion bringing in personal experiences when it comes to providing an offering.
